Special programs within the Division of General Surgery include a state-of-the-art minimally invasive surgery center and multidisciplinary programs for transplantation, breast diseases, and oncology. Special procedures performed include obesity surgery, continence preserving inflammatory bowel disease surgery, liver surgery, percutaneous endoscopic and laparoscopic procedures, biliary reconstruction, portal hypertension management, colorectal surgery including sphincter reconstruction, level one trauma care, surgical intensive care unit, endocrine surgery and endovascular surgery.
