Residency:
Surgery and Vascular Surgery, Duke University Medical Center, 1974-1983

Clinical Interests:
Endovascular and open surgery for abdominal and thoracic aortic aneurysms, peripheral vascular disease, carotid artery disease, lower-extremity vascular obstruction, vascular access for dialysis

Research Interests:
Current research interests involve the application of endovascular technology to the treatment of peripheral vascular diseases.  These activities include the use of commercially available and experimental designs of stent grafts for abdominal aortic aneurysm and the use of angioplasty and stenting for management of difficult carotid artery disease.
